Important Announcement for English Proficiency Test Reward Program!

Students Who Are About to Graduate or Leave the University: Please Read Carefully!

  1. According to the Reward Program regulations, eligible applicants are currently enrolled students of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, including undergraduate students, post-baccalaureate degree program students, master’s students (excluding in-service master’s program students), and doctoral students (excluding in-service doctoral students and doctoral students receiving government scholarships). Eligible applicants include both domestic students and international students whose native language is not English.

  1. Student eligibility is determined by the system after the verification documents have been reviewed and entered into the application system. If any university enrollment-related system identifies a student as graduated, withdrawn, or no longer enrolled, the student will not be eligible to apply for or receive the reward.

  1. Students who are about to graduate or leave the university should pay special attention to the application timeline. Please bring all required documents to the LTRC/LLWC/Self-Study Center office for verification at least five working days before initiating the university’s graduation/withdrawal procedures (or at least five working days before the system completes the graduation/withdrawal process) and inform the office of your expected departure date so that your application can be processed as soon as possible.

For example, if you plan to initiate the graduation/withdrawal procedure on June 26 (or if the system is expected to complete the graduation/withdrawal process and classify you as graduated/withdrawn on June 26), you must complete document verification at the office by June 18.

Applicants who fail to comply with the requirements and timelines may have their applications rejected, and the receiving and reviewing units reserve the right to deny applications and reward disbursement based on actual circumstances.

  1. Students who are about to graduate or leave the university and are unable to obtain an official electronic score report before graduation/withdrawal (e.g., the BESTEP tests taken in April or May 2026, TOEFL, IELTS, or other tests taken recently) may log in to the official test website, print out a screenshot of their test results, sign the printout, and bring it together with all required documents to the office. Students will be asked to log in to the official test website on-site for score verification.

This alternative procedure is provided only at the discretion of the office for students who are about to graduate or leave the university. Students who are still enrolled and do not plan to graduate or leave the university in the near future must submit all required documents in accordance with this year’s official announcement and regulations. Applicants who fail to comply with the requirements and timelines may have their applications rejected, and the receiving and reviewing units reserve the right to deny applications and reward disbursement based on actual circumstances.

  1. The receiving and reviewing units reserve the right to reject applications and deny reward disbursement based on actual circumstances. Therefore, please strictly follow all regulations and deadlines and read the Reward Program guidelines and announcements carefully.
